SANITARY DISTRICT NO. 1
FEE INCREASE HEARING
The Board of Trustees of Salt Lake City Suburban Sanitary District No. 1 hereby give notice that they intend to increase the monthly charge for sewer service to all district customers from the current $7.00 per service unit to $8.00 per service unit effective January 1, 2012. A Public Hearing regarding this proposed increase will be held as follows:

The District will explain the reasons for the fee increase and Board of Trustees will receive public comment on the proposed changes. The hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled November Board meeting. NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
SALT LAKE CITY SUBURBAN SANITARY DISTRICT NO. 1
The Salt Lake City Suburban Sanitary District No. 1 is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
The Salt Lake City Suburban Sanitary District No. 1 tax on a $214,500 residence would increase from $23.83 to $45.12, which is $21.29 per year.
The Salt Lake City Suburban Sanitary District No. 1 tax on a $214,500 business would increase from $43.33 to $82.05, which is $38.72 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, Salt Lake City Suburban Sanitary District No. 1 would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 89.35% above last year’s property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth.
